The idea for this community was born out of wanting to foster a global community of women working and creating in the podcasting industry - highlight the contributions women are making around the world, the unique perspectives and approaches women bring to their work and create a dialogue, that I felt was missing from our industry conversations.
At its core, I wanted to create spaces where we can create opportunities for connection, collaboration and consciousness, both virtually and in-person, as we aim to also create more opportunities to shine light on the presence of women and thier work in the podcast industry - The WPIN™ Podcast is a good example of this, as well as the WPIN™ Directory.
